Because I Care Greeting Cards Company

As a little girl growing up, the oldest of five siblings I often thought and felt unworthy and unloved. I also struggled with loving myself. I didn’t like anything about myself (the way I looked, my complexion, my voice, my body, my personality, etc.) as a little girl I had thoughts of not wanting to be here. I believed I would be better off dead, and I believed no one would even miss me. Throughout my teen/adult years I acted on those thoughts and had quite a few suicide attempts. I felt and believed I had no purpose being alive and I just wanted to die. I would smile around others as if all was well, but on the inside, there was a void, and I was extremely unhappy, depressed, and suicidal. Death had a grip on me. No one knew because I kept things bottled up inside and put walls up around me, out of fear of being hurt and taken advantage of. September 11, 2008 my life was changed. That was the day I got saved, I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I am still in awe as I think back to that moment. Of all the decisions I made in my life they don’t compare to the one I made on September 11, 2008. God healed me in areas that were broken and scarred. He delivered me from strongholds in my mind and He set me free! I use to be depressed and suicidal believing death was the only way out. I use to be in darkness, broken, and scarred. But today I am in His light, redeemed, and healed. I am not who I was, I am a new woman! God delivered me from depression and replaced it with pure joy! God delivered me from suicidal attempts and replaced it with prayer! With my brief testimony being shared, I shared it to say this. God loves you! He sees you! And you too can be healed, delivered, and set free! God has a plan for your life. Yes YOU! If you have never repented and received Jesus as your Lord and Savior don’t put if off. Or if you have backslid and turned away from God just come back to Him, it's time to come home! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). Each morning the Lord wakes you up that’s another day He gives you and you still have a chance to repent and be saved. (John 3:16-18). You don’t want to die in your sins. (John 8:24)  YOU are beloved!          

IF  YOU ARE GENUINELY READY, PRAY THIS:
Jesus, I fall at your feet. I admit that I have messed up my life. I have sinned against you. Forgive my rebellion. Jesus I believe you died on the cross for my sin. I now surrender to you as Lord of my life please save me! Come into my heart and live forever, have your way in my life from this day fourth. I turn from my old way of living to follow your way. Give me the power and strength to live my new life in you. Thank you for loving me so much, thank you for saving me! I ask you to fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Jesus it's in your name I pray. Amen.
